Um Momento (Momentary)
[installation / Brazil, 2012]
The sunlight comes through the window and hits the floor, gently. The light moves slowly over it, generating a rhythm in that space-time. The movement of the light through the window does not make a strong sound. This sound goes unnoticed in the everyday. In contrast to the things we see every day in the city, the fast and slow rhythm is united in a moment. The meeting of those rhythms moves us from our routines and the way in which we decide to perceive the world. It might even become possible to listen to the silence of thought.
